Four months into 2026 (the honest version)

We're nearly a third of the way through 2026. 😲

Which feels simultaneously impossible and completely believable.

I don't usually do the "here's what I've achieved" email because it can tip into braggy look-at-me territory pretty fast. But I've been reflecting on the year so far and there are a few things worth sharing if only because writing it down makes it feel real.

So. Four months in. Here's (some of) what's actually happened.

✨ My email list has grown by over 50% since January. And the number I'm even more pleased about - 77% of you are opening these emails. For context, the industry average is somewhere around 35%, so either you're all very kind, or I'm doing something right. (Possibly both. πŸ˜„)

✨ I got back into Meta ads. And I'm going to say this in my best sing-songy voice - nailed it. Found my feet properly in Ads Manager (is there a less user-friendly dashboard anywhere on the internet?) and achieved measurable return on the money spent. *Happy face*

✨ I did some much-needed behind-the-scenes reorganisation. The kind that isn't visible from the outside but makes everything run better - making sure my Life circle has real space to flourish and that my clients are steered even more closely toward the results they're here for.

✨ And I finished putting The Intentional Methodology together properly. This is the thing I would die on a hill for when it comes to building a business that's actually profitable without consuming you whole. Years in the making: done!

Not a bad four months, all things considered.

What does your year look like so far? Drop me a reply because I'd love to know.

PS

While I'm in reflective mode, are you actually tracking your audience growth? Not in a spreadsheet-you-never-open way, but properly, so you can see what's working? If you're not (and most people aren't, no judgement ), send me a message and I'll ping mine over to you. It's a little bit whizzy, calculates things automatically, and makes it very easy to see what's actually moving the needle.

PPS If one of your remaining eight months in 2026 involves finally getting your AI set up so it actually knows your business ... AI, Actuallyβ„’ is Β£275 and Claud(ia) would very much like to meet you. πŸ˜„

Last week I was on a training workshop with a brilliant content creator called Ruthie (if you don't follow her, you should) and she was helping us uplevel our sales pages. Ruthie has a brain like mine. She moves fast. And when she said "ok, draft something" ... she meant we had approximately 90 seconds. πŸ˜† First exercise? My brain was still pretty focused on racing back into the house after an unexpected school run (anxious daughter that morning means I took her to school and stayed to chat...

*Tired sigh* These last few days have been ... a lot! πŸ™„ In our family, life is 'life-ing' in a way that feels very real and very unpredictable right now. And as a solo business owner? You know what I mean when I say that the unpredictability is tricky to handle. So here's what I'm doing (and not doing) to get through ... βœ… I'm showing up for my clients: 1:1 calls, group sessions - these are top of the 'keep doing' list. πŸ‘‰πŸ» Everything else is getting a ruthless renegotiation. Meetings...

Hi Reader, Most service providers I know have multiple offers. And that's fine. The problem isn't having them. It's promoting all of them at once. When everything's on the table, your audience can't tell what you're actually most brilliant at. Your message spreads thin. Your energy spreads thinner. And instead of one offer building momentum, you've got five things moving slowly ... or not at all. If consistent, predictable income is what you're after right now, the most effective thing I know...
