Do you have a bingeable box set for new people?

Hi Reader,

Quick question: if someone’s new to your world and curious about you, where do they go? I don't mean your about page, or a call with you. I mean somewhere they can binge a few things on their own and decide you’re their person without you in the room.

The idea: a bingeable box set of YOU

Think Netflix, but it’s your content. Someone finds one post or episode, enjoys it, and ends up working through the whole series before you’ve said a word to them.

I'm not just making this up ... my clients will tell you I’m forever waving a book called Key Person of Influence by Daniel Priestley on our Zoom calls. His idea is that before someone buys from you, they tend to need:

  • around 7 hours of your content
  • about 11 interactions with you
  • across 4 different places

My bingeable boxset is The Lucy Filter
It’s my opinions, my stories and the things I say to clients, all in one place where new people (and search engines) can find it, updated weekly-ish.

Wondering what kind of content people binge? I'll link to 4 of my most popular posts at the bottom of this email.

Email list or box set? They do different jobs

You might be thinking: everyone says build an email list, so do I have to do both? Well you don't HAVE to do anything, but they do different jobs:

  • Your email list is for people already in your world. It’s brilliant for nurturing them, starting conversations and running campaigns to promote your offers.
  • Your box set is for everyone who isn’t there yet. It’s public, so people can find it, binge it and share it, and then join your list once they’re hooked.

👉🏻 The box set brings people in and your emails look after them once they’re here.

It doesn’t have to be all writing

People feel like they know, like and trust you faster once they’ve seen your face and heard your voice. So a good box set mixes:

  • written posts
  • video
  • and maybe some audio

The Lucy Filter will have video in it too but I don't want to create a whole load of extra work so I'll take snippets from existing videos and repurpose them ... (remember: I am ALL ABOUT making this business adventure as easy as possible, to fit the reality of a hectic plate-spinning life).

Over to you

Do you have a bingeable box set for the people who are new to you? If you don’t, are you intrigued enough to start one?

And if you’d like to know more about what I’m doing and why, how I’ve set it up and how it works alongside my email list, hit reply and ask. I’m happy to share some bts insights.

Hi Reader, Isn’t it just SO frustrating when people scroll straight past your content? You spend flipping ages putting it together, and you still feel invisible. You’re left wondering if that was a complete waste of time. And of course ... if nobody sees it, nobody’s buying it. I know (trust me I really do!) how much time you’ve already spent on umpteen ideal client exercises (yep, I hate those things too), working out your message and your content pillars, yada, yada, yada. But something...

We're nearly a third of the way through 2026. 😲 Which feels simultaneously impossible and completely believable. I don't usually do the "here's what I've achieved" email because it can tip into braggy look-at-me territory pretty fast. But I've been reflecting on the year so far and there are a few things worth sharing if only because writing it down makes it feel real. So. Four months in. Here's (some of) what's actually happened. ✨ My email list has grown by over 50% since January. And the...

Last week I was on a training workshop with a brilliant content creator called Ruthie (if you don't follow her, you should) and she was helping us uplevel our sales pages. Ruthie has a brain like mine. She moves fast. And when she said "ok, draft something" ... she meant we had approximately 90 seconds. 😆 First exercise? My brain was still pretty focused on racing back into the house after an unexpected school run (anxious daughter that morning means I took her to school and stayed to chat...
