Thank you Claud(ia) ๐Ÿ˜

Last week I was on a training workshop with a brilliant content creator called Ruthie (if you don't follow her, you should) and she was helping us uplevel our sales pages.

Ruthie has a brain like mine. She moves fast. And when she said "ok, draft something" ... she meant we had approximately 90 seconds. ๐Ÿ˜†

First exercise? My brain was still pretty focused on racing back into the house after an unexpected school run (anxious daughter that morning means I took her to school and stayed to chat with the SEND lead). I had barely gathered my thoughts, let alone put pen to notepad. Chalk that one up to a Lucy fail!

Second exercise, I did something different. I clicked over to Claud(ia) - that's Claude.ai, with a name I've given her (him/it/them??) because she absolutely deserves one, and also because I have had a total crush on Claudia Winkleman since long before the rest of the UK caught up. The Traitors just confirmed what I already knew. ๐Ÿ˜

Anyway. Claud(ia) is set up with my full business knowledge base - my voice, my clients, my offers, even the words I do and don't like. So I dropped in the task Ruthie had set, pointed her at my AI, Actuallyโ„ข sales page and briefing doc, and had a genuinely good draft before Ruthie had finished explaining the next step.

Good enough to drop into the meeting chat and get real time feedback on.

Because ... and here's the bit that actually mattered: Ruthie looked at it, said it was strong, suggested a couple of tiny tweaks. And that was enough for my "yes but could it be EVEN better, maybe I should keep working on it" brain to hear what it needed. It was good enough. Move on. Productivity winner unlocked. ๐ŸŽ‰

Creating content that quickly isn't down to magic. I's just what happens when your AI actually knows your business instead of guessing at it.

Which is exactly what AI, Actuallyโ„ข sets you up to do.

PS

Speaking of ... at the time of writing this email I still haven't updated the actual sales page. But if you fancy a click, you'll discover whether I squeezed time into an insane week.

Hint: if the headline opens with "Most people are using AI like a stranger they just met at a networking event and immediately handed their laptop to" - you'll know I'm winning at life. ๐Ÿ˜… (and if not, well watch this space!)

We're nearly a third of the way through 2026. ๐Ÿ˜ฒ Which feels simultaneously impossible and completely believable. I don't usually do the "here's what I've achieved" email because it can tip into braggy look-at-me territory pretty fast. But I've been reflecting on the year so far and there are a few things worth sharing if only because writing it down makes it feel real. So. Four months in. Here's (some of) what's actually happened. โœจ My email list has grown by over 50% since January. And the...

*Tired sigh* These last few days have been ... a lot! ๐Ÿ™„ In our family, life is 'life-ing' in a way that feels very real and very unpredictable right now. And as a solo business owner? You know what I mean when I say that the unpredictability is tricky to handle. So here's what I'm doing (and not doing) to get through ... โœ… I'm showing up for my clients: 1:1 calls, group sessions - these are top of the 'keep doing' list. ๐Ÿ‘‰๐Ÿป Everything else is getting a ruthless renegotiation. Meetings...

Hi Reader, Most service providers I know have multiple offers. And that's fine. The problem isn't having them. It's promoting all of them at once. When everything's on the table, your audience can't tell what you're actually most brilliant at. Your message spreads thin. Your energy spreads thinner. And instead of one offer building momentum, you've got five things moving slowly ... or not at all. If consistent, predictable income is what you're after right now, the most effective thing I know...
